Today was an awesome day…..I got to stay home with my family and spend time with my most wonderful children. I can not even put into words what they mean to me. I just love them with all of my heart and they bring such joy and therapy to my life.

So today I was thinking about my life……I feel that there is still so much more, like a sleeping giant in me longing to awake. What I mean by that is that I believe there is something I can do to make an impact in and on this world. I don’t want to go out living a normal life. I just got to believe there is much more to life.

I know you see it too….all the heart ache and hurt out there in our world all around us. To think about all that is going on can be so over whelming. But it can not keep us at bay and we do nothing, hoping someone else will take care of the problem.

In the book of James it says ” Do not merely listen to the word and deceive yourself. Do what it says… Anyone who listens to the word but does not do it is like a man who looks into the mirror and after looking at it forgets what he looks like.

When you look in the mirror, do you like what you see? Do you like what you have become or would you rather forget the person that you are? So many of us want to live deceived by forgetting what we see and what we have become. I see a world full of despair in need of love, in need of hope. But can I make a difference?

I think of the great Mother Teresa. Her name is known through out the whole world. What did she do that you couldn’t have done. She did all she knew how to do…….love. She loved people one person at a time. She fed the hungry and hugged the leper….that was it. And in doing this she started a movement. I believe we all have something in us that this world needs but it starts with you……
